Mini Workout March 29, 2013

Put the exercises together and create your oun min workout form your chair

without having to get up from your desk.

Do each exercise in sets of 3 with 8 to 12 reps each

Tricep Pushdowns March 28, 2013

Start by sitting up straight, feet flat on the floor, hands in front of your shoulders,  elbows bent, palms down, with closed fists.

Straighten your elbows; slowly push your arms down, fists just in front of your lap. Slowly bring them back up toward you shoulders and push down again.

*Remember to keep the muscles tight throughout the exercise.

Start with 3 sets of 8 to 12 reps.

Bicep Curls March 27, 2013

Start by sitting up straight, feet flat on the floor, hands on your lap, palms up, with closed fists.

Bending your elbows, slowly curl your arms up, fists just in front of your shoulders. Slowly bring them back toward you lap and lift up again.

*Remember to keep the muscles tight throughout the exercise.

Start with 3 sets of 8 to 12 reps.

Side Shoulder Raises March 26, 2013

Start by sitting up straight, feet flat on the floor, hands at your side.

Holding arms straight out to the side; lift up 90 degrees (arms should be held out shoulder height).

Bring arms down, back to starting position and lift again.

Start with 3 sets of 8 to 12 reps.

Shoulder Raisses( Office Chair Exercises) March 25, 2013

Start by sitting up straight, feet flat on the floor, hands on your lap.

Holding arms straight out, lift up 90 degrees (arms should be held out shoulder height).

Bring arms down, stopping just above your lap and lift again.

Start with 3 sets of 8 to 12 reps.

Daily Office Chair Exercises

I wanted to put together some simple, easy, effective exercised that anyone could do. Something that would make it so simple, even the busiest people would have time for it. You don’t have to go anywhere, you don’t need to get changed; all you need is your computer, a chair, and you.

Each day this week I’ll be posting a different exercise that can be done in front of your computer, while sitting in your chair. These exercises are easy to follow and are appropriate for most fitness levels. These exercises are perfect for people who have little time away from the office, people who have limited space, or are just getting started and want to ease into exercise slowly. Whatever your reason, give it a try. A little exercise is a good way to clear your mind for a minute, get your body moving a help you to feel energized throughout your day.

Try a new exercise each day this week, then look out for some mini chair workouts in the near future.

Take time to take care of you each day, it will benefit you and everyone who depends on you. To give your best you have to be at your best, so look for what makes you best and everyone wins.
