insanity

It’s time once again to make changes. Changes that make things better, easier, happier, run smoother, changes that bring about more changes. When you stick with these changes they become habits, and habits become everyday life. Next comes the adjustment period. No matter how simple or complex the changes, you need to get through an adjustment period to let everything stick. Once the change takes hold, you go with it until it’s no longer what you need or want and it’s time to make new changes, start new habits and continue moving forward . Life is about forward motion, and things will be different up ahead. What we do today has an effect on what we have tomorrow, the longer you put off changing the longer it takes to reach your goals.

Change will happen, no matter what you choose to do or not do, but wouldn’t you rather work towards what you want, instead of just letting things happen to you. If you want to feel healthier doesn’t it make more sense to eat better, exercise, get plenty of rest, and reduce you stressors, rather than repeating all the things that caused the problems in the first place? Albert Einstein said the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.

Don’t be afraid of change; change will happen no matter what, so why not work for the change you want.  Change your schedule, what it no longer gives you time for what you need. Change your diet when it no longer provides you with the nutrition you need. Change your workout when it no longer challenges your body. Change your attitude when it no longer gives you the outlook on life you want. Change your world to reflect the life you want.

Keep changing keep growing keep living!

positive thoughts

  1. How do you start your day? Try this: upon awakening, let the words Thank You flow from your lips, for this will remind you to begin your day with gratitude and compassion.
